Mann of the game
Tiger-Cats wide receiver Maurice Mann pulls in his second touchdown of the game over Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive back Donald Brown during the third quarter at Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton.
Mann and Cats running back DeAndra’ Cobb tallied two touchdowns each.
The following are some of my favourite photos from the game:
Ticats legend Angelo Mosca.
Ticats owner Bob Young on the sideline prior to the game.

Quarterback Kevin Glenn warms up for the game.
Ticats defensive tackle Demonte’ Bolden tries to push through a couple Blue Bombers offensive linemen.
Marcus Thigpen had difficulty finding open avenues on kick and punt returns, at least in that he didn’t return one for a touchdown.
Cats wide receiver Dave Stala had a good game with nine catches for 124 yards. The above two photos are from his big first quarter catch and run.
Which set up this easy DeAndra’ Cobb touchdown.
While Cats running back Marcus Thigpen didn’t have the wide open success on kick and punt returns of previous games, he certainly found opportunities at other times during the game. Here he pulls in a reception over Blue Bombers linebacker Ike Charlton.
Marwan Hage snaps the ball to Glenn.
Quarterback Kevin Glenn scampered out of the pocket a few times.
Dave Stala tackled by Blue Bombers defensive back Brandon Stewart.
Cats offensive linemen Simeon Rottier (65), George Hudson (52), Marwan Hage (62), Peter Dyakowski (67) and Alexandre Gauthier (66).
Cats special teams players Marc Beswick (3), Matt Carter (85) and Yannick Carter (48) tackle Winnipeg Blue Bombers cornerback Jovon Johnson on a punt return.
Cats defensive end Khari Long. I love the intensity of his face and how the light catches his eye.
A nice sequence of a nice play by Cats defensive back Will Heyward taking down Blue Bombers wide receiver Terrence Edwards.
Some more intensity, this time from George Hudson blocking Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive end Moton Hopkins.
Running back DeAndra’ Cobb looks for an opening.

Cats defensive back Geoff Tisdale creates enough of a distraction to force an incomplete pass intended for Blue Bombers wide receiver Adarius Bowman.
Though not a sack, Markeith Knowlton takes down Blue Bombers quarterback Buck Pierce. One of many hits on Pierce by the Cats.

Shortly thereafter Markeith Knowlton (25) intercepted a pass intended for wide receiver Terrence Edwards in the Blue Bombers the end zone.
Cats wide receiver Arland Bruce III is defended by Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive back Clint Kent (41) and linebacker Ike Charlton (0).
Cats defensive back Geoff Tisdale (9) and defensive end Justin Hickman (95) wrap up Blue Bombers wide receiver Terence Jeffers-Harris.
Cats linebacker Markeith Knowlton (25) attempts to block a punt.
Cats quarterback Kevin Glenn had a solid game, completing over 80 per cent of his passes – including the first 14 straight – for 340 yards.
Cats wide receiver Marquay McDaniel.
Cats wide receiver Arland Bruce III.
Quarterback Kevin Glenn rolls out of the pocket and decides to carry the ball…
…and was tackled hard by Blue Bombers defensive lineman Deji Oduwole, knocking off his helmet. Unfortunately the best shot with the helmet flying off didn’t work out for me from this angle.

And celebrates the TD with AB3. Looks like they’re raking in cash, or something.
